If you can remember, back in November, rappers Ice cube and LL Cool J announced they had hopes of purchasing a major TV station. Well, according to TMZ, the two have secured a billion dollar investments to help them reach that goal.
Reportedly, “Cube’s group has backing from private equity partners — and he met with the group earlier this week to hammer out their purchasing strategy.”
The two rap legends are entering bids for a block of 22 stations. As of now, the two have a plan in place, and the content on the stations will appeal to a younger audience.
