This week, we lost the icon, Tina Turner. Fondly known as the “Queen of Rock &Roll” she has trailblazed a path for many other female artists to follow. She also was a huge advocate for women in domestic abuse relationships. Turner publicly opened up about her abuse and became a role model for many women in the same position who were too scared to share their stories.
