Last week during Essence Festival in New Orleans, Brandy performed her hit single ‘The Boy is Mine” featuring Monica, but changed the lyrics around to shade Monica.
Brandy sang “The Song Is Mine” and proceeded to tell the audience that she has to claim what belongs to her: The song is mine. I gotta claim what’s mine. If I don’t got the boy, I’ve got the song. You know what I’m saying?
