Jacqueline Avant’s Killer Pleads Guilty + Faces 150 Years In Prison

Jacqueline Avant’s killer, Aariel Maynor, has been sentenced to a minimum of 150 years in prison.

We reported that Maynor, 30, shot and killed Mrs. Avant on December 1, 2021, in her Beverly Hills home during a burglary.

He also confessed to shooting at the security guard who was at the house during the time of the burglary. Maynor pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree murder, two counts of burglary, and attempted murder.

Along with being sentenced to 150 years in prison, Maynor will also be ineligible for parole, according to Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascón.

It has been previously stated that Maynor had talked about killing Mrs. Avant while on a jailhouse phone call. However, the motive behind the killing remains unclear.

In a statement released by the Avant family, they thanked their community for the “outpouring of love, support, and condolences in the midst of this tragedy.”
