Jada Pinkett-Smith and the cast of Red Table Talk explore unconventional relationships in the latest episode.
Pinkett-Smith took on more than just marriage when she said, “I do” to powerhouse actor Will Smith. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air had a young son with his ex-wife Sheree Zampino prior to his relationship with now wife Jada. In an all-new episode, Jada refers to her partnership with Will and Sheree as a non-sexual “throuple.”
A throuple is usually referred to as three partners in a romantic or sexual relationship. “You know what’s so interesting, though? Why it’s so not foreign to me too is that I’ve had a non-sexual throuple for years with Sheree,” Jada said. “When you have your husband that is taking care of another woman and spending time with another woman, it’s the same thing.”
Jada and Sheree both spoke candidly about their past rocky relationship, on the first episode of RTT. Sheree now refers to Jada as her sons “bonus mom.”
