Singer Janelle Monae is set to star in Disney’s reboot of ‘Lady and The Tramp.’ Monae will voice the role of Peg. ‘Lady And The Tramp’ is one of Disney’s classic movies. The original movie came out in 1955.
As we remember, Monae also played in Hidden Figures and Moonlight, so she is expanding her acting career.
The role of ‘Lady’ will be played by Tessa Thompson. The remake will be directed by filmaker Charlie Bean and will be set to air on Disney’s set direct-to-consumer streaming service which will launch in late 2019.
