Janet Jackson returned to television for a debut performance of her new single, “Made for Now,” featuring Daddy Yankee.
The countdown has been for new music from JJ ever since she announced an upcoming album and its lead track last week. Jackson finally debuted her new single Friday night on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Dancers filled the walk ways of NBC’s studio as drums echoed from wall to wall. Then, Jackson and Daddy Yankee appear and dance non-stop to the icon’s new upbeat pop track.
JJ performed the track in the same vein as her music video, which was filmed in Brooklyn last month.
