The duo debuted the new single on last evening’s Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.  “Made For Now” is inspired by Janet’s personal love of music from around the globe.  The music video, shot in Brooklyn, transports fans to a neighborhood dance party filled with a contingent of international dancers from Ghana, Nigeria, Grenada, Trinidad and the U.S. With Saturday’s appearance, Harlemites will be among some of the first to hear the dynamic new single!

Jackson’s and Daddy Yankee’s appearance is part of an event-packed weekend for HARLEM WEEK activities, including two of the celebration’s biggest full-day events, Summer in the City (Saturday, August 18) and HARLEM DAY (Sunday, August 19).  Additional performers through the weekend will include gospel singer Marvin Sapp, R&B singer Raheem Devaughn, soul group Harold Melvin’s Blue Notes, Music Director of ABC’s Dancing With The Stars Ray Chew, and many more.

Also featured during Sunday’s HARLEM DAY will be a special Bobby Brown installation in anticipation the premiere of “The Bobby Brown Story” (airing September 4-5 at 9 PM ET/PT on BET).  The installation – a 30-foot inflatable Bobby Brown head replica with his face and iconic fade haircut will allow people to enter the Bobby Brown “Theatre of the Mind” allowing fans to walk through and experience various facets of his music and life.
