Jay-Z has been getting very candid lately as clips of his conversation with CBS Morning’s Gayle King continue to roll out. In one of the most recent releases of their conversations, Jay-Z had the opportunity to open up about Beyoncé’s work on her latest Renaissance Tour.

“For me, it’s her best tour,” he said to King.

“This one to me felt like the most complete. And on top of it, how inclusive it was and the story of her uncle Johnny and like just how and how everything just came about and which goes to from Johnny, the ancestors to Blue.”

Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, made her debut as a live performer with Beyoncé during this tour. Although she didn’t appear on the first few shows of the tour’s UK leg, she shocked fans when she stepped out to perform alongside her mother for the song My Power.

“Since she was born, she’s been in like scrutiny and public eye and everyone having an opinion of, you know, even the little girl how she keeps her hair,” Jay-Z shared. “So for her to be on that stage and reclaim her power and the song is called My Power… you can’t write a better script.”
