Young Jeezy and Jeannie Mai are reportedly divorcing.

According to the The Atlanta Journal Constitution, rap star Young Jeezy filed for divorce from TV host Jeannie Mai on Thursday Sept 14. The filing in Fulton County Superior Court states that Jeezy is already separated from Mai and the two have signed a prenuptial agreement.

The couple had been married since March 2021. The pair reportedly met when the Trap Or Die creator was a guest on The Real, which Mai has hosted for eight seasons.

The two share a daughter, Monaco or “Baby Jenkins,” whom they welcomed in January 2022. Mai announced her pregnancy on an episode of Dancing With The Stars in September 2021.

Jeezy is reportedly seeking joint custody of Monaco, who is his only daughter and his fourth child.

Nearly three months after their intimate March 2021 wedding, Mai shared with E.T that being with Young Jeezy felt “1,000 percent” different.

“Oh my god. Married life feels 1,000 percent different than when we were dating, in the greatest way,” she explained to the outlet. “I loved our dating life because we really spent such concentrated quality time getting to know each other and making sure that we were right for each other. And now being married, it’s even more handled with such delicacy and such thoughtfulness, because we’re in our 40s and we both grew up in households that weren’t healthy marriages. We have never seen what that looks like.”

Jeannie was previously married to ex-husband Freddie Harteis.
