A while back we reported that Jennifer Hudson could be getting her very own daytime talk show. Hudson is finally addressing the rumors surrounding the show.
In a recent interview, the singer said, “I would love to do that, that would be a whole new interesting world to walk into. I do love talking as you could probably already tell, and I love to Jennifer-ize people. So maybe I will make it into your living room, 2022 is definitely going to let us know for sure!”
She continued, “Here at JHud Productions, we always got a plan. And we never stop working and, as I always say, you will always see me try and grow so there’s always see me try and grow so there’s always a plan, I can tell you that much.”
The speculated daytime show was supposed to replace Ellen Degeneres’s time slot this past fall. Although viewers didn’t get a show, Hudson did reveal that she has plans to head back to Broadway in the near future.
“I am looking forward to going back to Broadway- in what way, I don’t know when especially in these times, I don’t know. But I know I will get there. I don’t know when, I don’t know how, and I will get there.”
