Jennifer Lopez Reacts to Tough Critics Regarding Grammy’s Motown Tribute! [VIDEO]

Last night Jennifer Lopez performed a tribute to Motown Records at the 61^st Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.

 

When the news originally broke about the Bronx bred artist performing this particular tribute, many were confused about the correlation, and voiced that they rather see a plethora of other artists have that opportunity…

 

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, J Lo made it very clear about how she feels regarding her performance and the backlash she received before she hit the stage.

 

“The thing about music is that it inspires all,” Lopez said. “Any type of music can inspire any type of artist. You can’t tell people what to love. You can’t tell people what they can and can’t do, what they should sing or not sing. You gotta do what’s in your heart.”

 

As for those critics? “That’s okay,” Lopez said to Entertainment Tonight. “I’m just very humbled and honored to be able to have sung those songs.”
