John Legend Speaks On His Appearance in the ‘Surviving R. Kelly’ Documentary [PHOTO]

Did you watch it? Last night (1/3/2019) the 6 part docu-series, Surviving R. Kelly, aired on Lifetime. The internet has been in a frenzy since. Some ugly truths about the legendary singer has been unveiled. Multiple women, who are being called ‘survivors’ spoke out about what they experienced from R. Kelly.

Also apart of the first part of the series, was some notable faces. Including fellow R&B soul singer, John Legend. After appearing in the series, fans were praising the singer for being courageous. Well, Legend says it didn’t feel “risky” at all. In fact, he said it was an “easy decision.”

He took to his Twitter to send out a statement, also mentioning that he believes the survivors, and doesn’t care about protecting “a serial child rapist.”

On the other hand, many other celebrities denied the offer to be apart of the series. Celebrities including, Jay-Z, Erykah Badu, Lady Gaga and more.
