It looks like Kanye West in on a full PR press tour (in an effort to clean up his fallen image) because he just donated $500,000 to California’s wildfire relief efforts.

His half-a-million-dollar donation comes two days after news broke that he gave$150,000 to the family of Jemel Roberson – the 26-year-old church organist and bar security guard gunned down by police in Chicago last Sunday (Nov. 11).

Kim Kardashian spilled the news when she visited Ellen to shoot today’s episode of the similarly-named comedienne’s daily talk show. Kanye raised the funds through Adidas and his Yeezy brand.

During filming, Kim presented $200K to the California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Relief Fund and another $200K to the California Fire Foundation. The remaining $100K will be given to firefighter Michael Williams and his wife, who lost their home in the blaze that’s now responsible for more than 80 deaths.

Although Williams’ and his family lost their home, he’s continued to fight California’s deadly fire.

California’s Santa Ana Winds continue to blow as hundreds of acres have burned away.
