Kanye West has apologized to "the Jewish community" in a post written in Hebrew and published on his Instagram after a series of antisemitic outbursts.

The rapper made several antisemitic statements last year, including saying he'd go "death con 3 on Jewish people" and telling conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, "I like Hitler."

The outbursts prompted many brands to cut ties, including Adidas, which ended its collaboration to sell Yeezy sneakers.

His apology, published on Tuesday morning, does not mention any specific statement or incident.

“I sincerely apologize to the Jewish community for my unplanned outburst caused by my words or actions, it was not my intention to hurt or disrespect, and I deeply regret any pain I may have caused. I am committed to starting with myself and learning from this experience to ensure greater sensitivity and understanding in the future. Your forgiveness is important to me, and I am committed to making amends and promoting unity.”

The apology comes after MMA fighter, Haim Gozali posted a photo with Kanye's name written on an Israeli missile, suggesting it will be used in the war in the Middle East.
