We don’t hear much about Kanye West’s dad, Ray West, but he made headlines over the weekend after reports of him being diagnosed with stomach cancer circulated across digital media. While those reports were incorrect, Ray West has in fact been diagnosed with cancer – prostate cancer.
According to TMZ, ‘Ye “dropped everything to help his dad upon hearing the news.”
Yeezy and his father were spotted during a rare sighting at Nobu in Malibu, Calif in March.
Ray West is said to be doing well and “responding well” to treatment. As of now, the father of one of America’s biggest hip-hop and lifestyle moguls will be okay.
