Sweat released his debut album Make It Last Forever in November 1987. The album sold over three million copies, spawning the hits "I Want Her," "Something Just Ain't Right," "Make It Last Forever," and "Don't Stop Your Love."

The tour announcement arrives after the 62-year old spent the year on the road. He was recently on the line-up for The Legacy Tour as an opening act and Funk Fest Tour in Atlanta.

Last year, Sweat collaborated with Raheem DeVaughn for his song “Can’t Nobody.” The song achieved much success landing Sweat his 15th top 10 hit on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart.
