Earlier this month, the well-renowned Soca group Kes The Band, made sure that Labor Day was properly celebrated in New York City even with the parade being canceled.
The band held their annual celebration “IzWe” concert in Coney Island and had big names such as Patrice Roberts, Alison Hinds, Farmer Nappy, Voice, Naila Blackmon, Nadia Batson, Ravi B., Teddyson John, and more join them on stage.
The concert was an ode to West Indian culture and to the love for soca music.
However, last night, the concert premiered on their website in honor of Trinidad’s Republic Day. This gave fans the chance to see what they missed out on or the chance to relive in those special moments again.
