According to reports Kim Kardashian is in talks with the Texas government to stop the Nov. 20th scheduled execution of Rodney Reed.

Reed has spent over 20 years on death row and maintained his innocence for the alleged murder and rape of Stacey Stites in Texas. There is a substantial amount of evidence to prove Reed is innocent as well as pointing the finger at the actual murderer, who was said to be the victim’s fiancé (a local police officer with a violent past).

It has also been noted that the victim’s fiancé Jimmy Fennell confessed to the murder while serving time in prison for another brutal assault. A prison mate of Fennell’s recalled him stating:  “I had to kill my n*****-loving fiancée.”

Fast-forward to Reed’s upcoming execution date, a slew of celebrities have been active in signing the petition to have Reed exonerated.
