This is a reminder that people are always watching.
In Texas, a Starbucks employee noticed that a customer, a teenage girl was being harassed by a stranger, as she sat at a table by herself to study.
Brandy Roberson, the young girl’s mother explained on Facebook. “She was sitting at her table alone studying, and this man came by and noticed what she was studying and wanted to talk to her about it,” Roberson said. “He, I think, just kind of became really animated and kind of loud about it.”
The man’s loudness caught the attention of one of the employees, who handed the girl a cup of hot chocolate and told her that someone forgot their order and that she can have it for free.
However on the cup was a note that read, “Are you okay? Do you want us to intervene? If you do, take the lid off the cup.”
Reports state that the harasser immediately noticed that all of the employees were staring in their direction and left the girl alone.
The girl would thank the employee and Roberson would write in the Facebook post, “How grateful I am for people who look out for other people.
