In October 2022, it was reported that actor Leslie Jordan had passed away from natural causes behind the wheel of his car. Now his official cause of death has been revealed.
According to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner, Jordan died of cardiac dysfunction due to arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease. The disease causes the hardening of the arteries that will cut off blood flow.
The Call Me Kat star did not have any drugs or alcohol in his system during his death only the medication he was taking for his heart. The coroner also noted that Jordan had blocked 50% to 80% of his arteries.
The Tennessee native was best known for his roles in the dramatic and comedic space. In 2005, he won an Emmy for his role as Beverly Leslie in the hit show Will & Grace. He also had various parts in Boston Legal, Fantasy Island, The United States vs. Billie Holiday, American Horror Story, and more.
Leslie Jordan was 67 years old when he passed away. May he continue to rest in peace.
