Actress LisaRaye McCoy is ready to move past the issues she has with fellow actor Duane Martin.
McCoy spoke about her issues with Martin on the latest episode of Cocktails with Queens, she said, “The chemistry’s gon’ be right, so they’re gon give us a little bit of what we’ve always been looking at in the old story, you know, the old episodes in the beginning. So, I’m glad, and I think this is a teachable moment of again, maturity. That you grow away from that. The fact she could do that, I think, is huge, because we all heard about it.”
She went on to speak about her ex-husband, Chief Minister of Turks & Caicos, Michael Misick, “I just pray maybe I can feel that way about her ex-husband.”
LisaRaye met Misick in 2005 and the two got married in 2006. Their marriage quickly came to an end after Misick was caught being unfaithful to the actress and it was revealed that Duane Martin played a part in it as well.
In a 2019 episode of Uncensored, McCoy stated that “Duane Martin would become disrespectful with introducing my husband to different women and women that we knew as friends and associates.”
The two got a divorce in 2008.
