LL Cool J’s music comeback isn’t happening anytime soon. The rapper made the announcement on his Twitter account saying that he no longer has plans on releasing the album.
In the since deleted tweet, the Queens native wrote, “I’m really trying to figure this album out SMH.” He went on to say, “Just not feeling like this album is worthy of being released. I tried. Not dropping it.”
This announcement comes almost ten years after he released his last album Authentic in 2013. LL has been a pioneer in the rap game for decades and is considered to be one of hip-hop’s first crossover acts as TheJasmineBrand reports.
Aside from rapping, he has also established himself as a successful actor and has appeared in numerous movies and television shows.
How do you feel that LL Cool J is no longer working on putting out a new album? Do you think that he should try again or just stick to acting?
