A Florida man was arrested after landing in Albuquerque, N.M. Sunday (Oct. 22) after he groped a woman aboard a Southwest Airlines flight, and used Donald Trump as his defense.

The New York Post reports 49-year-old Bruce Michael Alexander – who’s a Tampa, F.L. resident – was flying aboard Southwest Flight 5421 from Houston, T.X. to Albuquerque, N.M. when he decided to grab the breast of a woman sitting in the row in front of him. The victim authorities she fell asleep after getting on the plane and felt “a movement on the ride side of her sweater,” within 20 minutes of takeoff.

She went on to say she “felt fingers slowly grab the back of her arm, squeezing above the elbow, then slowly and ‘attentively’ grope her right side, again at and around her ribs and ‘bra line’” 30 minutes later.

Alexander was arrested on federal charges after landing, and said “that the President of the United States says it’s ok to grab women by their private parts,” according to the criminal report.

The Florida man’s defense refers to Trump’s taped statement that surfaced during the 2016 presidential election: “And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything,” Trump said. “Grab ’em by the p—y. You can do anything.”

Alexander is now facing two years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
