They say ‘Momma knows best!’
A 2015 clip from the ‘Steve Harvey Show’ resurfaced on the web with Marjorie Harvey giving her daughter Lori Harvey advice when it comes to dating and relationships. Marjorie says:
“Now, you just started dating this year. So how are we gonna handle that? No athletes, no rappers- we gon’ go down the list…Don’t ever try to fit in when God has clearly created you to stand out.”
She continues:
“Always be a lady, and understand you are the prize. Don’t give yourself to anybody that is not going to be your husband. If they love you- if they really care about you, they’ll wait on you.”
In the clip, Lori reassures her mom that she has nothing to worry about.
“When it comes to dating, my mom has nothing to worry about. I got this. “
In 2017, Harvey was engaged to soccer player Memphis Day. And in 2019, the young socialite has been linked to Trey Songz, father and son Sean “Diddy” Combs and Justin and now rapper Future.
