Mayor De Blasio: ‘We Will Cancel City Permits For June Events’

New York City is putting a hold on festivals, concerts, parades, and all non-essential events through June as the Coronavirus pandemic continues to impact the city.

The 2020 Pride March, and the Puerto Rican Day Parade has been included in the list of canceled events, as the city continues to make an effort at lowering the coronavirus infection rate.

Mayor De Blasio says most events will be rescheduled and that this was a decision “we have to make.”
