NFL Hall of Famer, Michael Irvin is currently under criminal investigation in Texas for misconduct.
According to reports, a spokesperson for the Allen Police Department did not confirm details of the investigation however, the rep said, “It’s very early in the investigation.” The rep continued, “At this point, we aren’t prepared to release any classification regarding Mr. Irvin.”
Irvin’s attorney, Levi McCathern, said in a statement that his client has “done nothing wrong or inappropriate.” He added, “It will turn out to be much ado about nothing.” This isn’t the first time that Michael Irvin has been accused of misconduct.
Last year, the 58-year-old was accused back in February after a hotel employee in Arizona reported that Irvin had acted inappropriately when he had an encounter with her when he was in town covering the Super Bowl.
Irvin denied the claims and filed a $100 million defamation lawsuit that was settled seven months after the allegations surfaced. Since these new allegations have come about, Michael Irvin has made regular appearances on the NFL Network and Fox Sports 1.
