The family drama within the Jackson family continues.

Michael Jackson’s youngest son, Prince Michael Jackson II also known as Blanket, is asking the court to block his late father’s estate from paying his grandmother, Katherine Jackson’s legal fees. As reported, the family’s matriarch racked up legal fees to try to stop the executors from moving forward with a big huge business venture.

Initially, Blanket was on his grandmother’s side to fight the deal but eventually gave up when he learned there was a heavy chance of them losing this battle. However, Katherine Jackson filed an appeal, which Blanket did not like.

According to court documents, Blanket also believes that if the legal battle continues, it will not benefit the trust’s beneficiaries, such as himself. Katherine reportedly receives an allowance of seven figures for the year from the estate, which Blanket feels that she should put towards paying her attorney fees.

He has also asked the court and the judge to “use its best judgment” and allow his grandmother to be reimbursed for “reasonable attorney’s fees.”
