Congratulations are in order!
After 14-months of dating, sportscaster Mike Hill got down on one knee and asked Cynthia Bailey to marry him. He popped the question during the grand opening of her event, The Bailey WineCeller in Atlanta.
Hollywood Life reports, he gave her a five-carat princess cut solitaire ring. Hill even had Bailey’s daughter help him make the day a huge surprise.
According to the article, this is how it happened:
“Mike called on Cynthia’s daughter, Noelle, to help him open the bottle and she handed over the ring box … That’s when Mike reportedly dropped to one knee and professed his love, while his and Cynthia’s daughters gathered behind him with a hand-made puzzle piece sign that real, ‘can we be a family?’”
Cynthia’s reaction was a little confused at first, but then she “turned into a ball of emotions” and “broke down in tears,” and finally said yes!
