After a seven-year hiatus, R&B songstress Mya returned to the studio to release her new 12-track album, T.K.O., which dropped earlier this summer, and now she’s back with a new video for her latest single, “G.M.O. (Got My Own).”
The near-four minute single is a girls’ anthem that sings about the power of an independent woman. Producers Planet 9 & Dana Rice Productions brought the single to life by showing off a vibrantly, illuminated Mya moving across a black and white screen as she dances from scene to scene.
“G.M.O.” features Timberland’s artist, Tink, to accompany Mya’s lyrics about taking care of her own.
Sexy and sassy, Mya and Tink boast about having their own money while still welcoming a man to treat and spoil them.
