Ne-Yo has filed a motion to have his soon-to-be ex-wife, Crystal Renay, silenced while their divorce is ongoing.
According to reports, the 42-year-old singer is alleging that due to Renay’s constant discussions about the proceedings have cost him to lose over $400k in deals. He also claims that she has broken their court agreement for them not to harass one another while their divorce is currently under negotiations.
“To date, Ne-Yo has lost approximately $400,000 in wages associated with public appearances, professional bookings, and promotional efforts related to the promotion of his new musical project,” the motion reads.
It was previously reported that Ne-Yo had objected to Crystal asking for alimony, child, and spousal support after being married for six years. A few months ago, Renay posted in a now-deleted post on Instagram accusing him of cheating and for having another child outside of their marriage.
Ne-Yo agreed to pay child support and also requested joint physical custody of their three children. However, he stated to the court that he doesn’t believe that he should pay spousal support. He has also requested to keep their Georgia home because he has been taking care of it since Renay is unemployed.
