Nicki Minaj is taking her voice to the big screen! According to reports, the Queens rapper got cast for the Angry Birds Movie 2.
Reported on Variety, it’s unclear what Nicki’s role will be, but she’ll be joined the original main cast, Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Bill Hader, Danny McBride, and Peter Dinklage. Other celebrities set to use their voice in the movie are, Awkwafina, Sterling K. Brown, Leslie Jones, Rachel Bloom, Eugenio Derbez, Lil Rel Howery, Dove Cameron, and Zach Woods.
This wouldn’t be Nicki’s first time in a movie. She had another voice-over role in Ice Age: Continental Drift, and filmed on camera in The Other Woman, and Barbershop: The Next Cut.
Angry Birds Movie 2 will hit theaters on the 10th anniversary of the video game, August 16, 2019.
