After a video of a man assaulting a 78-year-old woman on a train, goes viral- police need help finding the suspect.
In the hard-to-watch video, you can see the man repeatedly kicking the elderly woman in her face. It is unclear why the incident took place, or if the two got into some sort of disagreement. The bystanders catch the incident on camera and posted to Twitter, which sparks it to go viral.
The incident happened inside the 238th St/Nereied Ave subway station, in the Bronx, NY. Police are urging anyone to speak out if they can identify the man seen in the video.
You can hear the man say to the cameras, “WorldStar that,” after assaulting the woman. Reportedly, no one called 911 immediately. As seen in the video, no one on the train attempted to help the woman.
