Now that Bill Cosby’s started his three-to-10-year sentence behind bars, O.J. Simpson is warning the celebrity inmate about life behind bars.

TMZ spoke with the Juice while he was golfing on a Las Vegas golf course, and they asked his thoughts on Cosby’s sentencing – since he has experience with the prison system.

“I’m sure there will be guys protecting him but they’re gonna have to put him in protective custody … because it takes one nut, ya know?”

Simpson continued, “The problem is the nature of the crime. You know rape is frowned upon in prison…[and] there’s not a warden in this country wants the responsibility of a Bill Cosby. I think they should let him do his time under house arrest.”

Simpson isn’t the only star commenting on Cosby’s case and sentencing.

Stevie Wonder says he “respects” the actor’s work and hopes “God will give him mercy.”
