The official details regarding the death of Master P’s daughter, Tytyana Miller, have been revealed.
Back in May, we reported her death but the cause of it was not released, although Master P did reveal that Tytyana did super from substance abuse and mental illness. The official coroner’s report stated that Miller died from fentanyl intoxication on May 27.
Reports say that the paramedics got the call on May 28th at 2:30 am and when they arrived she was pronounced dead at the scene. Master P would later share the news on his Instagram page.
“Our family is dealing with an overwhelming grief for the loss of my daughter Tytyana. We respectfully request some privacy so that our family can grieve. We appreciate all of the prayers love and support,” he wrote.
He continued, “Mental illness and substance abuse is a real issue that we can’t be afraid to talk about. With God, we will get through this. #MyAngel.”
Master P would later do an interview with Gayle King where he talked about what he was going through.
“Coming from poverty, you would think that you would outlive your kids and that was the mission. And I feel like, going to my daughter’s funeral, I feel like I went to my own funeral. And I don’t even want to go to no more funerals,” the rapper said. “My daughter had a lot of life left in her. She was a happy woman that knew that tomorrow she could do something better.”
