Michelle Williams and her fiancé, Chad Johnson has decided to call off their engagement and part ways. The former Destiny Child member shared the news on Instagram Friday morning.
“I still remain fearless. I still remain single! Things didn’t work out! The healing that needs to take place is a must! I don’t want to destroy another relationship. Blessings to him, his family, and his ministry.”
The news is shocking to some because the couple has their reality show on OWN network titled, “Chad Loves Michelle” which gives fans a glimpse into their pre-wedding couple’s therapy. The show will continue to air on Saturday nights.
The couple met in 2017 and began dating. In April 2018, the couple announced that they were engaged. Williams and Johnson then hit a few road blocks. The gospel singer checked herself into rehab in July when she fell into a deep depression.
No further comment has been by either party at this time.
