Welp, that’s it for Papa John’s chairman John Schnatter!
Schnatter resigned from his position at Papa Johns on Wednesday night after it was revealed that he used the N-word during a conference call.
The call was reportedly set to discuss public relations and potential hiccups, however the method of which they used to complete this exercise was “role-playing.”
Papa Johns released a separate statement saying: Papa John’s condemns racism and any insensitive language, no matter the situation or setting … We take great pride in the diversity of the Papa John’s family, though diversity and inclusion is an area we will continue to strive to do better.
