Even in death, Kevin Samuels is still being heavily talked about and this time it’s by Pastor Jamal Bryant. During a recent sermon, Pastor Bryant called out the late Samuels for his critique on women over 35 and even called out the fact that a GoFundMe account was created to pay for his funeral expenses. In a now viral clip, Bryant said, “How can a man say that you are of low value after 35?, How can a man say that you don’t have the level of traction of a high powered man when that man has to get a GoFundMe for his funeral?” According to reports, a GoFundMe account was allegedly created by a friend of Samuels’, Melanie King. In the caption of the post, King wrote, “My name is Melanie King, it is with great sadness that we are saddened with the great loss of my oldest brother Kevin Samuels. U guys know him as the outspoken philanthropist, a businessman he is used to.” It went on to say, “He’s just a son, brother, and a father. Any or all donations will go to our mother and Kevin’s daughter. Kevin paid our mom’s bills since her retirement and he did not have a will or beneficiary. Thank you, no amount is too small.” https://www.instagram.com/p/CdgLhalL1VX/?igshid=NWRhNmQxMjQ=We recently reported that Kevin Samuels passed away after being found nonresponsive in his home. Do you think what Jamal Bryant said in his sermon was the right thing to say?
