Prayers Up: Tyler Perry’s ‘Ruthless’ Actor, Rhonda Stubbins White, Passed Away

Heaven gained another angel.

Rhonda Stubbins White, 60, an actor on Tyler Perry’s show Ruthless, passed away.

As reported on The Jasmine Brand, she died from cancer. She passed away at her Los Angeles home on Monday (Dec. 6). Deadline points out her friend, Todd Baker, confirmed the heartbreaking news via Facebook. He said,

“It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my dear friend Rhonda Stubbins White. She was an amazingly talented woman, full of positivity and energy and grounded by her faith. We were all fortunate to have known her and shared her short time on this earth.”

White was a veteran in her field. Her career started in the early ’80s. She got her big break in 1992, starring in an episode of NBC’s Here and Now. She was also featured in The Cosby Show. In 1994, she got a role in Out of the Darkness with the iconic Diana Ross. In the 2000’s, she had a reoccurring role in NBC’s Days of Our Lives.
