Queen Elizabeth II Dies At 96

Queen Elizabeth II passed away at age of 96.

An official statement was released by the royal family that confirmed the death. “The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon.”

According to reports, this news comes after it was reported that the doctors were showing concern about the Queen’s health. In February, the fears of royal watchers grew when she tested positive for COVID-19 shortly after celebrating her 70th year on the British throne, making her the longest-reigning monarch in British history surpassing her great-great-grandmother Queen Victoria.

Flags in London were lowered on top of Buckingham Palace and mourners began to gather outside of the palace. Social media began to pour out their love and support for the royal family and to pay their respects to her.
