R.Kelly Found Guilty Of Child Pornography Charges In Federal Case

R.Kelly has been found guilty on child pornography charges during his federal trial in Chicago on Wednesday.

We reported that the disgraced singer had filmed videos of himself having sex with a then-14-year-old girl. He was found guilty on three of four counts of the indictment but was acquitted of the fourth count of conspiring to obstruct justice in 2002.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Kelly’s charges carry a minimum of 10 years in prison. He along with two co-defendants, Derrel McDavid, and Milton “June” Brown were also acquitted of the conspiracy charge.

He was also found guilty on three out of five counts related to enticing a minor. The jury’s 11-hour deliberation and verdict comes almost 14 years after Kelly was acquitted on similar charges in Cook County.

R.Kelly was also found guilty and sentenced to 30 years in his New York trial on sex trafficking and racketeering charges.
