Aaryn Smiley is blessed to be alive!
Comedian/radio host, Rickey Smiley revealed his 19-year-old daughter, Aaryn, was shot three times over the weekend, we covered the report. Aaryn Smiley, who recently celebrated her 19th birthday, was shot in the leg at a drive-thru in Houston. The press release says,
“The three men were in a vehicle at a stoplight at the above address when an unknown vehicle passed them. The occupant(s) of the vehicle began shooting multiple times, wounding the three men. A female passenger in an unrelated vehicle was also struck, police said.”
Aaryn updated fans via her Instagram story. She said she is grateful to be alive, the bullets that went through her car are made to go through anything. There was another bullet that hit her in the head, but luckily enough, it wasn’t the same type of bullet that can go through anything! She also said the scariest part is that she’s alone. Due to COVID-19, she can’t have any visitors, not even her parents. She said she’s “terrified.”
As of now, Aaryn is unable to walk due to the nerve damage and will be in the hospital recovering for a while. Her dad was reportedly at the hospital, “by her side” in spirit since they won’t allow him in.
As of today, no arrests have been made but police are investigating.
