Fans have been waiting eagerly for almost a year to see what Rihanna and boyfriend, A$AP Rocky, named their son. Now, fans are finally getting the details.
On Friday, Daily Mail released the information from on obtained birth certificate of the couple’s son. Up until then, the two have actively avoided saying his name in interviews and media placements. Even when Rihanna covered Vogue Magazine with both her beaux and son, his name was not mentioned. According to the documents, the baby’s name is RZA Athelston Mayers. The first name, RZA, honors rapper and producer, RZA, leader of the Wu-Tang Clan. Many fans speculated that Rihanna would have named her son something of the sort. She has been spotted wearing several articles of clothing repping Wu-Tang since giving birth.
Over the weekend, the couple celebrated the 1st birthday of their son. In a post on Instagram, A$AP Rocky shared soem images of the family together to celebrate. Saying in the caption, “WU TANG IZ 4 DA CHUREN 🤲’ HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY TO MY 1st BORN . RZA❤️.”
In the midst of the celebrations, Rihanna is currently growing their second bundle of joy inside her. At this year’s Superbowl in February, the singer performed for the game’s halftime show. This was the first show she performed in years since her 2016 release of the album Anti. During the performance, she revealed to the world that she was pregnant once more, less than a year after giving birth to her first child.
