Robin Thicke had everyone reaching for their tissues during Wednesday night’s episode of The Masked Singer.
The episode was called “Theme Night” and Thicke, who is also a panelist on the show, sang the theme song from the show Growing Pains. The song was co-written by his father, Alan Thicke, who also starred on the sitcom.
Just like the television show, the singer’s performance was accompanied with a montage of throwback photos of him and his fellow castmates, Nick Cannon, Nicole Scherzinger, Jenny McCarhty-Wahlberg, and Ken Jeong.
At the end of the performance, a picture of Alan and Robin was displayed on the screen for the audience and world to see. Cannon commended the singer on his performance and called it an “amazing tribute to America’s dad and Robin’s dad, the unforgettable Alan Thicke.”

Alan Thicke passed away in 2016 at age 69. He was best known for his role as Dr. Jason Seaver on Growing Pains.
