This is just horrible.
Kashala Francis, 13, was jumped by two girls while walking home after school.
One of the teen girls kicked Francis in the head and she had to go to the hospital. Doctors discovered a tumor in the back of Francis’ head, and it could have been exacerbated by the fight.
A few days after being in the hospital on life support, she slipped into a coma and eventually passed away. Until the autopsy is complete, investigators will know if the two teen girls will get charged or not.
The incident is being investigated as a homicide. No arrests were made yet.
