Sidney Poitier’s cause of death has been revealed more than a week after his death.
According to reports, the actor passed away from a combination of heart failure, Alzheimer’s dementia, and prostate cancer.
Reports also state that the Academy award-winning actor suffered from dementia and cancer years but had experienced heart failure just hours before his passing.
Poitier, 94, passed away in his home and it was confirmed by Fred Mitchell, Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Bahamas, where Poitier is from. As per his death certificate, Sidney Poitier has been cremated. He passed away on January 7th.
