It’s less than a week before show time, and the organizers behind Coachella have announced that Solange is out!
According to Coachella’s official Twitter account, Solange will “no longer be performing at this year’s festival” because of “major production delays.”
Due to major production delays, Solange will unfortunately no longer be performing at this year’s festival. She sends her sincerest apologies, and looks forward to performing at Coachella in the future.

The Grammy-winning entertainer has yet to respond to the announcement, and many are in the dark as to what “production delays” are at hand. Rolling Stone reports Goldenvice, the company behind Coachella, pointed all inquiries about the cancellation to Solange’s team, who then referred questions to Coachella’s tweet.
So if you were counting down to Solo’s performance – which would have taken place one year after her sister’s groundbreaking set – it’s time to come up with a back-up plan.
