The 64th Annual Grammy Awards Are Postponed Due To The Rise Of COVID Numbers

The Grammy Awards has been postponed until further notice. 

The show which was set to air on January 31st has been postponed due to the rapid spread of the Omicron variant. 

“After careful consideration and analysis with city and state officials, health and safety experts, the artist community, and our many partners, the Recording Academy and CBS have postponed the 64th Annual Grammy Awards show,” the Recording Academy said in a statement.

The statement went on to say, “The health and safety of those in our music community, the live audience, and the hundreds of people our show remains our top priority.”

This would be the second time that the Grammy’s was postponed. In 2021 the show was moved to March 14th from January 31st.
