‘The Best Man: The Final Chapters’ Currently in The Works

It’s official!

‘The Best Man’ is coming back to a television screen near you. Universal’s hit movie franchise is getting a new installment as a streaming series. According to Deadline, Peacock has ordered a 10-episode limited dramedy series The Best Man: The Final Chapters from the movies’ writer and director Malcolm D. Lee and former Insecure executive producer Dayna Lynne North.

The cast includes Nia Long, Sanaa Lathan, Regina Hall, Melissa De Sousa, Morris Chestnut, Terrance Howard, and Harold Perrineau. The only person who will not be there is Monica Calhoun, whose character passed away in the sequel, The Best Man Holiday.
