The music label that was home to West Coast legends like Tupac, Snoop Dogg, and Suge Knight will be taken over by a toy company.

According to sources, Hasbro reportedly acquired Death Row’s discography with the $4 billion purchase of Entertainment One, a multimedia company that has its hands in TV, film, and music.

Love B Scott reports “eOne became Death Row’s parent company when it bought the label’s catalog for approximately $280 million in 2013, about seven years after Death Row declared bankruptcy.”

Hasbro is home for popular kids toys like Transformers, Mr. Potato Head, My Little Pony, G.I. Joe, Power Rangers, and more.

Since Death Row filed bankruptcy in 2006 they’ve changed ownership several times.

Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner said he’s “looking forward to furthering their family-oriented brand.” The company will also own all of Death Row’s music catalogue
